The Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) hope is that reporting on economic, environmental and social performance by all organizations becomes as routine and comparable as financial reporting. GRI accomplishes this vision by developing, continually improving and building capacity around the use of its Sustainability Reporting Framework. The GRI indicators and supplements are the most widely used framework for reporting. The reporting framework is used by the UN Global Compact and the ICMM.

Our 2010 Responsibility Report has been written in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative’s G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and the GRI Mining and Metals Sector Supplement. We believe it represents a balanced and reasonable presentation of our organization’s economic, environmental and social performance.

The GRI Indicator List addresses how we report on the G3 Standard Disclosure requirements in the 2010 Online Responsibility Report.
